Noises ring through the pedestrians’ .ears. Dirty buildings stand tall. People chatter in the smoggy streets High-pitched sirens race through the traffic. Big houses are cramped on very little land Buildings are always being pulled down. While cats and dogs go astray. Noises surrounded by a fence of buildings. Anna White, F2, Villa Maria College. Smoke, smog, dirt, unwanted smells. And pollution, Lamp-posts, apartment houses, all try to reach the sky, Voices, crowds, gossip fills the streets, Hotels, motels, bed and breakfast Houses always full, Planes, cars, trucks all cram the streets, Gum, litter and bottles make a Design on the pavements, People hustle and bustle to get To work The city is a great machine of Pollution and noise.
