Coastal Ranger sold
PA Wellington The Coastal Ranger, which plied the Wellington to Lyttleton run, has been sold by the Shipping Corporation of New Zealand, because of a decline in cargo trade, according to the corporation yesterday. The Coastal Ranger, formerly the Hawea and part of the Union ■ Company’s Tasman fleet, was used by the corporation as a replacement vessel for the Rangitira.
The ship has been bought by Greek interests.
