Ebbett ahead; 6c interim
Ebbett Waikato Group, Ltd. increased unaudited net profit 60 per cent to $101,38! in the six months to January 1979. This is after providing for taxation $82,947. Last year the 5 per cent stock adjustment offset the need for a tax provision. An interim dividend of 6 per cent (6c a share) is payable on May 25, ex dividend May 16. This will be ex the share premium reserve account, and will be tax-free in the hands of the shareholders. The previous interim dividend was 4.5 c a share, and
