Sandilands housing, built fn Bromley after World War 11. will be kept by the Christ-' church City Council, although' some units might be sold to! existing tenants. The council rejected last evening an earlier recom-; mendation by the Housing! and Property Committee that' 24 double units still owned! by the council should be sold' to raise money for other land development projects. Cr R. Lester said that the units served a definite com-, munity need for reasonably priced rental housing, and other councillors agreed.
