University Vacancies UNIVERSITY OF OTAGO DUNEDIN RESEARCH FELLOW INDUSTRIAL AND REGIONAL DEVELOPMENT A POST has been created in the University of Otago to give strong support to Regional Development. It is to be jointly funded by local industry, the University, and the Business Development Centre. We are looking for a person with practical industrial experience, and research/development competence. Experience in new ventures and feasibility studies, with skills in marketing, finance, and product development, would be essential. Work in Regional Development, particularly resource analysis and quantification, would be desirable. The Research Fellowship, which is tenable initially for a period of two years, will be under the general direction of the Director of the Business Development Centre, Mr Richard Higham. University salary scales will apply. Lecturer — $11,894 -$14,488 Senior Lecturer —514,983 - $18,380 Appointment of a person with exceptional qualifications will be considered at a salary level of up to $21,159.
