Lamb COUNTY ENGINEER , 471 AGRICULTURAL TRAINING COUNCIL AGRICULTURAL TRAINING OFFICER Applications are invited from suitably experienced/ persons for the position of Agricultural Training Officer with the Agricultural Training Council in the following regions: - Gisborne/East Coast based tn Gisborne - Nelson/Marlborough/West Coast based in Nelson THE JOB Working closely with the farming and horticultural communities and their industry bodies to: - promote agricultural training policy - identify training needs and determine training priorities. - co-ordinate, organise and administer regional programmes of training activities. THE APPLICANT - should be familiar with and have a sound general knowledge of the agricultural and horticultural industries. - should have experience in modern industrial training methods. - should possess the ability to meet people readily and communicate effectively. - will require initiative, enthusiasm and self-reliance to cope with a position that is demanding, challenging but satisfying to the right person.
