The parade of earthworks machines will begin in Twizel at midday on Saturdav January 27. It will start from Ohau Road (see map) on the southern side of the town, turn left into Mackenzie Drive, and travel around the town as far as the Twizel Service Station. From there, the machines detour down Ruataniwha Road and into Wairepo Road, running past the Project

Office and parallel with the main highway from Timaru to Omarania, Past Twizel Hotel, and into Ostler Road, the parade will eventually end up at its starting point, where the machines will be parked up for display. A large number of parking areas have been made available to the travelling public (the shaded areas on the map).
