Life at the top
Climbing up a 25m pole is all part of a day’s work for Mr Wayne Kirk, a rigger with the Great Inter* national Circus Spectacular, who is seen finishing the assembly of one of the four main tent poles for the 8000 sq m Big Top. The circus will open its season in North Hagley Park on February 2. Bookings have been steady for the circus, which can seat 6000 people at each performance.
