Course for jobless
A course to help the unemployed in Christchurch had attracted 27 young persons in the first three days it has been held.
! Only eight attended on' Monday, another eight on Tuesday, and 11 yesterday, said the district superintendent of the Labour Department (MrW.T. Holland). The course is being run' by the Departments of Labour and Education in conjunction with the Christchurch Technical Institute. It will be held again today and tomorrow. The venue is room C 228 at the institute, the entrance being from Fife Street.
