From JOHN FRIDD Larry Perkins will continue his battle to beat the Italian ace, Teo Fabi, in the Teretonga round of the New Zealand international Formula Pacific series today. Perkins flung his Wynn's March 778 aggressively around the Teretonga track yesterday to almost equal Fabia pollwinning time of 56.0 secs Perkins will start on the front of the grid alongside Fabi after recording a 56.1 sec practice lap yesterday, and should hit the lead when the flag drops in the first race today just as he did at Manfield last week-end. Fabi is notoriously slow away from a standing start but all the same Perkins is not confident about staying in front of the
