Slow start to contest
Young Christchurcl women are reluctant start ers, so far, for the loca career girl contest to be belt on February 27. The local prize is a two day trip for two to Rotorut but the winner of the Nev Zealand Career Girl Await will receive $3500. Although about 20 womei had collected application forms, only .a few had beet returned, said Miss J. Os borne. president of the Christchurch branch of the Federated Business and Professional Women’s Club which is organising the com petition.
