U.N.C.F. director
PA Wellington The New Zealand national committee for the United Nations Children’s Fund has appointed its first full-time director. She is Mrs Norma McCallum. Mrs McCallum, who will be based in Wellington, has worked with women and children while attached to the Nottingham, Constabulary in England. She was also a cultural affairs officer for the United States Information Service in Northern Rhodesia (now Zambia) in the 1950 s and later worked the Public Service in Bermuda. . ■ , She has been a librarian at Karori Normal School in Wellington for the last six year.
