Two big baboons occupied the flight deck of a British airline at Schiphol Airport, Amsterdam, for several hours yesterday after escaping from their cage in the hold.
The baboons were among eight primates on their way from London to Copenhagen on board a British Caledonian cargo flight, NZPA reports. Control of the plane was restored to the captain after the simian hijackers were made harmless with anaesthetic darts.
