’A Invercargill A Mataura freezing works labourer appeared in the Magistrate’s Court at Invercargill yesterday on a charge of murdering Michael John Burnaby Curtis, aged 23, at Gore on Tuesday. The man was remanded iri custody to January 31 at the request of the police. He was to have a psychiatric examination during the remand. No plea was entered. The man was granted interim suppression of name on medical grounds.
