PA Wellington Claims for motor-vehicle damage have not been markedly affected by the holiday traffic blitz, according to insurance companies. Four offices reported yesterday that claims for both vehicle and property damage were about average

for the holiday period. But spokesmen said that the bulk of the claims were still to come when holidaymakers returned home. The biggest insurer in the field reported a slight slackening in claims for car damage in the early hours of the morning when many accidents were alcohol-related.
