TECHNICAL ADVISOR AGRICULTURAL PESTS DESTRUCTION COUNCIL A NEW Position has been creased for a Teihnical Advisor to the Council. 1 THE APPOINTEE WILL BE EXPECTED TO — Establish and operate a qualify control tern to ensure that the dangerous product* i manufactured in the two APD C. factories meet exacting standards — Develop procedures to ensure the safely and efficiency' of operators at the factories. — Establish laboratory procedures approuriate to the quality control program — Maintain a file of information on the lox- ! icological aspects of pest destruction. — Establish a liaison with research workers associated with the pest destructior movement. I — Deal with toxicological problems arising from the use oi the factories' products in the field , — Provide toxicological information and training for users of these products. ■ — Carry out trials appropriate for the continued improvement of the manufacture and ' use of toxic baits for animal pest destruction. — Keep the Agricultural Pests Destruction Council aware of developments and new measures ' for efficient animal pest control ' — Advise Agricultural Pests Destruction Council on technical aspects of animal pest control. I QUALIFICATION’S DESIRED — A degree in Science with a major in Chemistry. j — Experience in research and/or industrial qual- | ity control. — An ability to communicate with people at diverse levels. i — Initiative and self-motivation. ; A salary commensurate with the prospective appointees qualifications and experience will be | negotiated.
