Doobie tour
Christchurcli will know within the next few days if the Doobie Brothers will be doing a local concert. The Doobie Brothers are already booked to play at Western Springs Stadium, Auckland, on January 25, and it is hoped that they will be able to play in Christchurch a few "days later. If it goes ahead, the venue for the concert will be Queen Elizabeth II Park. The Doobie Brothers have already played in New Zealand once, but only in Auckland.
