“A Week of It”
Sir, — “We are not amused.” That “A Week Of It,” (“The Press,” December 20) could be considered Kiwi humour is enough to make any cat laugh and I am be= mused at the intended threat of even “45 minutes of it.” Three hopeless pub-crawlers, a gum-chewing chick, with rivalry from an over-weight sheila, are typical New Zealanders at their own social level and intelligent understanding? God defend New Zealand from all laboured witticisms as such. —- Yours, etc.,
ROSIE WITTY. December 20, 1978.
