Consecutive sixes win game
Colin Stanbury was the hero of Little River's astounding cricket win against Wainui in [the Banks Peninsula competition !at the week-end.
Wainui left Little River to get 150 in eight overs and the latter team gave it a go. it needed nine runs off the last two deliveries and Stanbury hit two sixes, finishing 94 not out from six overs. He was unbeaten on 81 in the first innings and took two wickets for one. Results:—
