N.Z. FOREST RECOVERS
Rises outnumbered falls by more than four to one on a firm, active New Zealand sharemarket yesterday. N.Z. Forest Products recovered sc, and Alex Harvey firmed by a similar amount. Radio Otago gained 25c to 300 c to be equal with Radio Avon, but Capital Radio continued to ease. Burke’s Caterers remained steady despite a drop in profit, while Carter Holt was ahead 1c ex dividend after experiencing difficult trading in its latest half-year.
