Fendalton. 11771 Paparua I County Council NOTICE OF SPECIAL ORDERS PUBLIC NOTICE is hereby given that the Paparua County Council, at a Special Meeting held in the Council Chambers, on Monday, November 13 1978, resolved the following matters by way of Special Order:— COUNTY CULTURAL AND RECREATIONAL CENTRE LOAN (STAGE I). 1978— $90,000 To raise a loan of 590,000 for the library section of Stage I of the County Cultural and Recreational Centre in Gouldlng Avenue, Hornby, subject to the conditions of sanction of the Local Authorities Loans Board granted at its meeting on November 7, 1973. NOTE: Stage I comprises a library and a Community Care Centre. Repayment of the said loan and interest thereon shall be secured by an annual recurring special rate of .0000236 cents in the dollar on the capital value of all rateable property in the Paparua County. NOTE: It Is not proposed to levy the special rate, but to meet loan charges from general County revenues. It is also notified that a pul> of ratepayers is required to be taken if not less than 15 per cent of the ratepayers of the Paparua County so demand in writing to the undersigned. Such notification must be received not later than 9 a.m. on Monday, December 11. 1978. AMENDMENT TO BUILDING BY-LAWS—TIME LIMIT ON PERMITS The proposed By-law amendment will impose a condition in that any permit issued for building construction in the County, whether before or after the coining into effect of the By-law shall be deemed to expire if the work of construction Is not completed within 12 months from the date of issue thereof or from the date of this By-law becoming effective. Provision will be made for extensions of time to be granted in certain cases. Copies of the above-i mentioned Special Orders are! deposited at the Council Offices.
