Hotel staff end strike
| The staff of the Yaldhurst [Hotel will return to work [today after a two-day strike 'in sympathy with three employees dismissed by the hotel’s management. The assistant secretary' of the Canterbury Hotel Workers’ Union (Mr G. D. Harding) said after talks among I the union, the management, and the Hotel Association that he would meet workers at Lion Breweries this morning, before, discussions with the management and association resumed.
