The position calls for a creative thinking person with leadership skills to work as an active and co-operative member of the Board's senior administrative team on a wide consultative basis leading to informed decision making. Applicants must be qualified members of the Nursing Profession and should hold a New Zealand Postgraduate Diploma of Nursing and/or other appropriate post graduate qualifications. In addition applicants should possess wide experience in hospital nursing services and knowledge of all aspects of the N.Z. Nursing Education System. They should have had experience in the administration of a School of Nursing or in a senior nursing administrative post. Salary is payable under Grade 19 of the N.Z. Hospital Employment (Nurses) Determination i.e. $15,499 p.a. plus 5365 General Wage Order.
