‘Money with Menaces'
Samuel Nutkin is conservative, punctual, neat, iimid, in fact the epitome of the British man-in-the-street. He lives in the suburbs, works in the accounts department of a London textile company and commutes each day with hundreds of others like him. On this particular morning he is occupying the corner seat of the carriage. He notices a slim magazine which has apparently been left wedged down the side of the
seat by its previous occupant. He picks up the magazine, glancing idly at the cover and quickly conceals it beneath his newspaper. Carefully he sneaks another look at it — it is “The Contact Magazine for the Sexually Aware.” On the cover is a picture of a large lady with boots, stocking and a whip. Samuel Nutkin’s life is about to move in a completely different direction. “Money with Menaces” stars Donald Churchill, Maureen Pryor, Sharon Mughan and Stephen Chase.
