Bible pupils graduate
The first students to graduate from the Christchurch Bible College will receive their diplomas at a ceremony to be held tomorrow at the Durham Street Methodist Church. The president Of the Bible College of New Zealand (Mr I. M. Moses) will present the diplomas to 11 students, whc have spent the last four years at the college, situated in the grounds of Middleton Grange Primary School. The registrar of the College (Mr H. H. Deane) came to Christchurch from Auckland in 1974, He said that his aim was to help train people for lay sendee in the community, and enable them to take leading positions in local churches. Full-time students pay $240 a year to attend the nondenominational college three times a week. Part-time
courses are also available for a smaller charge, but part-, time students do not qualify ■ for a diploma in four years. I Qualifying students must! pass 28 units, with a choice
