The Arts Centre will have its third annual open day from 10 a.m.-l p.m. tomorrow.
Activities will include two free performances by the Southern Ballet Theatre of a special schools programme at 10.15 a.m. and 11.15 a.m. in Studio A, Scott Block. Pupils from 65 schools are expected to attend. The orchestras of ths Christchurch School of Instrumental Music will have an open rehearsal in the Great Hall and the Centre Gallery and the public will also be able to “look behind the scenes” at the Court Theatre.
The Canterbury Potters’ Association will hold its annual sale. Other activities will include a Banks Peninsula Folk Club concert and displays bj’ Ikebana International. the New Zealand School of Photography, and the Canterbury Environment Centre.
