A former provincial Russell Grace player and the Coringa [No. 1, Jeanette Ross, scored 2ft, while Avondale’s intermediate : champion Ingrid Jagersma, ) scored 21 points—a fine effort i for an intermediate. Mrs Bishop continued her morning form to record the best afternoon score of 30. while Mrs Mann did well to score 29. Mrs Bishop, in fact, had the best 35hole score fo v the day: she - finished with 61, two clear of Mrs Mann, while Mrs Ross was a point further back. A total of 25 tearns contested the Canterbury final, each team ; consisting of the senior, intermediate and junior chib champion.
