Magistrate appointed
PA Wellington A Whangarei barrister and solicitor, Mr J. W. Imrie, -has been appointed a I stipendiary magistrate, the i Minister ”of Justice (Mr Thomson) announced yesterday. | Mr Imrie will transfer to i Hawke’s Bay in December, |to succeed Mr W. K. L. Dougall, who died in August.
Mr Imrie, who is 37, is a senior partner in the Whangarei office of Chapman, Tripp and Company. He qualified as a barrister and solicitor in 1964 and has practised in Whangarei for the last seven years.
