Salmond to pay more
Salmond Holdings, Ltd, has raised its interim dividend from 6c a share to 7c a share (7 per cent) after I unaudited group net profit rose 53.5 per cent to $477,235 in the six months to September 30. Domestic sales rose 12 per cent, while export sales increased 50 per cent making a substantial contribution to the profit improvement. The profit was after providing $82,529 more for tax at $239,108. The dividend is payable on February 1.
