Body in river
The Christchurch police have identified the woman whose body was found in the Avon River near Avonside Girls’ High School yesterday morning. She was Jean Evelyn Cramp, aged 59, a housewife, of Flesher Avenue. Richmond. Her body was found floating in a shallow stretch of the river about 10 a.m. She had not been dead long, said the police. They said there were no suspicious circumstances
