Outward Bound wants sponsors
Christchurch service clubs; are being asked to provide : sponsorship for young peoph ■who want to take part in an Outward Bound course, but; are unable to do so because they lack money. This project, launched by i the Canterbury association ol the Outward Bound Trust, is known as the scholarship endowment register. “Its primary aim is to assist in full, or in part, the fees of young men and I women who would benefit from Outward Bound experience at the Cobham Schoo at Anakiwa. but who are not able to meet the full expenses involved.” said the chairman of the association (Mr M. Wright). The fee for an Outward Bound course is $360.
