Car a prize at Addington
Some lucky patron at the 23 meetings remaining this season will drive off Addington Raceway in a new Mazda 323 car. At each meeting, starting with that of the Canterbury Park Club on Friday, patrons will have the opportunity to select the winners of three nominated races. Those doing so successfully will become eligible for the grand final draw which will see the vehicle won at the New Brighton Club’s meeting on July 21 next. Patrons will be restricted to one entry at each meeting, but there will be no limit on the number of correct entries a person
may have during the season. Each correct entry will be eligible for the final draw. Entry forms will be provided in al) race books. Sponsorship from the New Zealand Horsemen’s Association and Arnuri Mazda. Ltd, has enabled the three clubs to introduce this worth while prize. The Horsemen’s Association approached the clubs with assistance towards a promotion aimed at stimulating interest in trotting ae Addington and officials of the three clubs felt that a competition which would run for the remainder of the season would create the greatest interest.
