QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE: Desirably the applicant should have an appropriate academic or professional qualification, and be experienced in policy formation and administration, report writing ’and correspondence at a high level. The applicant will be required to undertake research, make appraisals and evaluation of submissions, and present reports to the Authority on a wide variety of matters concerning the economic welfare and development of the racing industry. Some knowledge of racing and/or trotting would be desirable but is not essential. The salary for the position will be negotiated with the successful applicant and will be fully commensurate with the responsibilities of the position.
