Certificate of Scii ence or equivalent. I (2) Experience in Chemical control of modern high merit, power generating equipment or similar process equipment. j to join a team of scientifically trained personnel in providing the chemical services required by modern generating plant. Huntly Power Station, 32km north of Hamilton due to be commissioned in 1979, will have four 250 megawatt units having steam conditions of 169 bar, 541 degrees C main steam and reheat steam to 46 bar, 541 degrees C. Meremere Power Station, 64km south of Auckland. Six 136 t/hour boilers and seven 30 megawatt turbine-generators operating at 41 bar and 454 degrees C. New Plymouth Power Station, in New Plymouth ■ City. Five 120 megawatt boiler turbinegenerator units, each rated at 376 tonnes of steam per hour at 128 bar and 541 degrees C. DUTIES: Include analysis of boiler water, feed water, raw and treated water, supervisor of water treatment' plant, fuel analysis, lubricating and insulating oil analysis, environmental analysis, modem instrumental techniques, corrosion investigations and sundry chemical problems.
