Nightcaps district centenary
Sir, — The centennial celebrations of Nightcaps and surrounding districts (Ohai, Birchwood, Waicola, Aparima, Wairio. Opio and Wrey’s Bush) will be held in February, 1980. Former residents and interested persons are invited to send their full names and addresses to the
Centennial Registrar, Mrs E. Shirley, Nightcaps, in order that they may receive advance information about the celebrations. A history of the area is being prepared for publication in book form, and our committee would appreciate the assistance of any former residents who may have information, or old photographs, suitable for inclusion in the book. We would need to have this information not later than November 30, 1978. — Yours, etc..
