MAKE A 'MUSHROOM MEADOW’-
Here is a pretty and delicious pudding for a party or special occasion. • It is quite simple to make and ! your “mushrooms” and i “grass” will quickly disappear. You need: 8 meringue halves, 2 bananas, a packet of green jelly, a little butter. Make the jelly according to the directions on the I packet. When it is set — I and this will take some I time — you are ready to I work at the rest of this I recipe. First, chop the firm jelly with a fork. Spread it on to a flat dish so that it looks like a meadow, or a luscious green paddock. Peel and cut each banana into four pieces and butter one end of each. Press the buttered end of each piece into the flat side of a meringue, j Stand the mushrooms in the meadow -— you will be surprised how nice they look.
