October 13, 1978, resolved to adopt a bylaw to be known as The Cheviot County Dog Control By-Law, 1978. This By-Law empowers the County to seize and dispose of unregistered dogs found at large in the County; makes it an offence for any dog to be at large on any street or other public place, with provision for dogs so found to be impopnded and if not claimed disposed of; provides that no person can keep 3 or more dogs in the Township Riding of the County without a licence from the Council; requires dogs to be tied up during the hours of darkness; and contains various other provisions enabling the Council to exercise a stricter con. trol of dogs. The Resolution to adopt this By-Law will be submitted to a Meeting of the Council to be held in the Council Chambers, Cheviot, at 10 a.m. on Tuesday.
