Election campaign telegram
Sir, — Once again the Labour Party candidate for Papanui has made a gross error with his publicity material. First it was the fake M.E.D. bill, and now it is the bogus telegram. Telegrams to many people bring only bad news, and to many the propoganda must give this impression. Fortunately we do not get this sort of frightening rubbish from Mr Walker.—Yours, etc.,
A. L. SMITH. October 15, 1978.
