MAINTEN ANCE'and - ENGINEERING MANAGER (UP TO $lB,OOO P.A. PLUS CAR) is required by a major mining company engaged in the export of an essentia! raw materia! and located near to a prosperous North Island provincial town. DUTIES: Responsible for the maintenance and engineering function of al! mine and plant. Major facilities include two suction dredges, concentration plant, slurry pumping systems and associated mobile and other support equipment. QUALIFICATIONS: Age range flexible but 35 to 50 bracket preferred. The successful applicant could have a formal tertiary qualification or some professional or semiprofessional qualification but must possess a background of experience in heavy engineering. Must have capacity to accept full responsibility for a Department and to produce results through supervisory staff who work closely with Operations Department with the goal of maximising overall plant availability. REWARDS: An attractive salary of up to $lB,OOO per armure will ba negotiated. Generous fringe benefits include a company car and home purchase finance. Full relocation costs are reimbursable.
