Medals for brothers

PA Ashburton Two Ashburton brothers will have the distinction of receiving the Cadet Forces Medal at the same time at a ceremony this month. The two, Squadron Leader W. Paterson and Flying Officer I. Paterson, are members of the 24th (Ashburton) Squadron of the Air Training Corps and will re= ceive the medal on October 30 at a squadron parade in Ashburton. The medal is awarded to officers with not less than 12 years continuous service with either the Sea Cadet, School Cadet, or Air Training Cadet Corps.
