Big Govt housing loan
Parliamentary reporter The Minister of Housing (Mr Holland) has approved $224,000 for another Christchurch City Council pensioner housing project. It will be built at the corner of Stanmore Road and Haast Street. A half-hectare site bordered by Beverley Park, it includes land formerly owned by the Lin,|wood Tennis Club. ’ The funds from the Housing Corporation, consist of a $77,000 loan and up to $147,000 in subsidies. Mr Holland said this would be a (“design and build” complex,-
