Don Carlos, Riley sold

Special correspondent Invercargill Don Carlos and Riley have (been bought by clients of lan [McKinley’s Melbourne stable. Don Carlos was a winner at Wingatui in June for the Wingatui trainer. Eddy O'Brien, and his wife Daphne, who had the Hastings Road—The Spy gelding on lease from Mr Jack Crawford, of Invercargill. A seven-year-old, Don Carlos won six races for Mr Crawford. Riley, a five-year-old by Hastings Road from Little Gramc, : won three races, all last season, ■for Eric Jackson, his Timaru /owner-trainer.
