Gains by uranium stocks and selected bank stocks high-lighted a day of generally firm trading in Australia yesterday.
Queensland mines rose 25c to 360 c, and Kathleen Investments, gained 20c to 310 c on reports that the companies are ready to announce financing arrangements for Nabarlek, and speculation that, because it is less complex than the Ranger project, has a better chance of winning earlier approval.
