New Begin ideas
NZPA-Reuter Jerusalem, I The Israeli Prime Minister (Mr Menachem Begin) has said he would go to nextj month's tripartite summit! near Washington with a con- i Crete new idea for establish-! ing a partial but permanent Middle East peace agreement. Speaking to reporters after a Cabinet meeting on Sunday, Mr Begin declined to say what the idea was. He said that he would be ready to present it to President Carter and President Anwar Sadat at their talks I
, starting on September 5 at I the Camp David Presidential ■retreat in Maryland. The concept of permanent [ partial agreement has beicome a major theme of Mr I Begin in recent weeks. He said on Sunday that his objective was still an over-all peace settlement. The Israeli hope appears to be that if this problem remains intractable at Camp David — and there is little sign it will be anything else — then Egypt will settle for ; something less than full ■peace.
