‘Women flee’
China has again accused, Vietnam of causing people stranded along their border! to stampede into Chinese, territory. In the latest of several such incidents reported in the last few! weeks, the New China News Agencv said that "about 200 to 300 victimised women” had stampeded into China with their children at the week-end at the Friendship Pass crossing. The incident was said to have taken place only a few hours after the two countries held their third meeting in Hanoi to discuss the position of Vietnam’s Chinese community. — Peking. ...
