Wigram just wins sport
Wigram beat Burnham, 17-6, in the annual winter sports tournament between the Air Force and the Army, held at Wigram. Over 300 competitors took part in the 13 sports. The sports Wigram won were: rugby, netball, men’s volleyball, golf, indoor bowls, hockey, rifle shooting. Burnham was successful in harriers, squash, women's volleyball, badminton, basketball and soccer.
