Man faces several serious charges
PA Auckland An unemployed salesman, aged 23, was granted interim j suppression of his name by Mr P. M. Browne, S.M.. when 1 he faced charges in the Magistrate’s Court at Auckland yesterday of attempted murder, indecently assaulting a young girl, injuring her, and rendering her uncon- \ scious to facilitate rape. Counsel (Mr R. J. Beech) ■ said he would not make an: application for bail at this: stage. The man was remanded without plea in cius-i tody to August 24.
