Mall plans opposed
Members of the Merivale Precinct Society last evening discussed ways of opposing the proposed Merivale Mall. About 80 people at the society’s annual meeting,
heard that Mr Walker, Minister in Charge of the Government Life Insurance Office — owner of the mall site — had sent a telegram approving the proposed development.
