Union to get new officer
A selection committee of the Canterbury Clerical Workers’ Union is interviewing applicants for a job as field officer for the 8000member union, and will name its choice next week. The successful applicant will take the place formerly held by Mr G. W. Lowrie, who was summarily dismissed by the union executive last month.
