Ronald Biggs, the Great Train Robber, is causing a howl of protest over his planned British television debut with the Sex Pistols. Biggs, who appears to have inherited the mantle of the Pistols’ former controversial vocalist, Johnny Rotten, is to mime the groups latest single, “The Biggest Blow — A Punk Prayer,” on a national music programme, Television executives have been joined by members of Parliament in denoucing Biggs’ musical sally onto prime-time TV. The single, incidentally, is at present No. 15 in the British charts, despite a 8.8. C. ban on it.
